On Wednesday, October 2, members of the Friends of the Kimberley Forest Committee met in Markdale with representatives of Grey Highlands and Grey County to discuss and review strategic plans for the forest.
The group discussed short-term and long-term goals for the conservation, rehabilitation and promotion of the property, as well as the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that will face the group along its path.
In attendance were Michele Harris, Michael Benner, Paul McQueen, Stewart Halliday, Herb Lemon and Rob Adams of The Municipality of Grey Highlands, Bryan Plumstead of Grey County, Johnny Yeaman of Team Van Go, and Jason Petznick, Jason Traynor, Brian McCullough, Don Churchill, Cathy Little, Craig Todd, Jill Smith-Brodie and Peter Mitchel of The Friends of the Kimberley Forest.
